The analytics platform for ICAO Western and Central African Region

The ICAO Western and Central African (WACAF) Office, established in Dakar, Senegal, in 1963, is accredited to 24 ICAO Contracting States in the AFI Region. Led by a multidisciplinary team of 25 staff, the Office promotes ICAO policies, standards and recommended practices (SARPs) contained in the Annexes to the Chicago Convention, and supports the implementation of Aviation Safety, security and Air Navigation Plans. The Office coordinates closely with States of accreditation, appropriate organizations and regional civil aviation bodies to support the safe, efficient, and high-performing air transport system.
